What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. I am sharing with you guys some pics of Manav Sangralaya. Its a very big place and it takes a whole day to complete the site on location. In the first photo starting from top left , that is a snake boat which is used in racing festival in Kerala. I always watched it on tv but I saw it in real where I could see its length and feel the boat and I still cant imagine how they would row it. It takes around 60-70 rowers to pull the boat for racing. Next two pictures are of 8 wheeled chariot and 4 wheeled chariot it is also known as Dussehra Rath. Its a magnificent and gigantic piece of engineering. Last two painting are from that era and they are expensive too. These are the painting’s made by people of those times and they use to depict their culture in those drawings It is awesome to see them right in front of your eyes and to imagine how those people use to live and how they use to live their life. I am going to continue writing this blog as regularly as I can so please come back for more and be informed with my latest trips and lots of photos and videos too, Thank you.
